About the role

The South African entity is recruiting a Head of Department for Quality Assurance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of quality assurance agents and support the business through ensuring accurate and insightful reporting, driving continuous improvement including fraud prevention and identification.

You will contribute to the business and staff success using your deep understanding and knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, coupled with exceptional analytical, reporting, attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and continuously develop a team of Quality Assessors.
  • Provide accurate and insightful Reporting to stakeholders, including but not limited to Team leaders, Department managers learning and development, auditing etc.
  • Partner with various management and specialist teams to effectively and consistently achieve quality and business objectives.
  • Lead Quality strategy to define process improvement through transactional,  digital and transformational improvement.
  • Maintain, Audit and enhance Quality control / framework to prevent and reduce risk.
  • Conduct thorough investigations identifying root cause Analysis, identifying trends and themes and providing corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to and stay abreast of Compliance and industry regulatory requirements and current systems.

Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
  • 5+ years experience managing QA teams.
  • Previous Quality assessing management in Call Centre and or financial services environments is highly advantageous.
  • Proven people and performance management skills, including ability coaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements and findings into simple workable business solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and positive energy.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills.
